The Brewery
The York Brewery Visitor Centre is the ideal place for a great day or evening out.
Take a tour of our brewery and experience the traditional art of brewing in the heart of this historical City. Come along and see, smell and taste some of the finest cask conditioned ales being brewed for local, national and worldwide consumption. Our brewhouse consists of a 20 barrel brew plant and a gallery has been constructed providing an excellent viewing platform into both the fermenting and conditioning rooms so that you can experience the brewing process from start to finish.
Our guided tours are conducted daily by a member of brewery team who are on hand to answer any questions and explain how we brew our award winning range of ales. The tour also includes a generous beer sampling and as a memento of your visit why not visit our brewery shop and browse our extensive range of high quality merchandise?
Or why not join us in the evening in the Brewery Tap Room for a pint of one of our award-winning ales? The Tap room is open Monday - Saturday 12.00 pm - 9.00 pm and serves a great range of our ales alongside a portfolio of spirits, wine and soft drinks.
Social Functions
We are also a unique venue for corporate entertaining, product launches, celebrations and more. Has anybody ever accused you of not being able to organise a p*** up in a brewery? Now is your chance to prove them wrong!
York Brewery can offer you the ideal atmosphere for a party for up to 80 people in our Brewery Tap Room and can cater for your every need from buffet style menus to a disco to get the party started. Whatever your requirements, we can help.
If you require a more formal venue for perhaps a business lunch or team briefing we also have a range of high quality meeting rooms to the rear of the brewery with a designated meetings coordinator on hand to ensure your event runs smoothly.
